Visit From Our UK Partners

Our partners visited the children at Lwangoli church of Uganda. They watched and listened to their presentations but also the teams played with the children the different games while using a variety of play kits they came along with such as ropes, balls and many other items introduced to the club.

They also monitored some children in their homes e.g. Steve and Joseph to fully understand their health condition.

We visited Sakiya twice in January with our partners to conduct a consultative meeting with pastor Matiya, about the children’s program as well as meet and have fun with the children.
During the discussion it was emphasized that in spite of supporting some children with education costs, the overall aim and main activity is to continue with the nutrition program for children. It was emphasized that sponsorship for education for most vulnerable children in school is equally important if funds are available. Other administration issues were shared and noted.

The partners had time with children during special presentations within church, participated in porridge serving and games time. All these activities brought joy and appreciation of the children to partners who from UK. Some gifts to centre guides and children were given and everyone was happy about it.
