UWCM has worked in communities since 1991; impacting lives of the most vulnerable people and we trust that we can still reach out to more for their welfare and future.
In all this UWCM works in partnership with different groups and contributes to the government goal of mitigating the effects of poverty in communities.
Funding is by International partners and donors, the government of Uganda and locally available sources.
GOVERNMENT OF UGANDA
UGANDA CONCERN UK
We primarily support the work of Uganda Women Concern Ministry (UWCM) which is an indigenous Christian charity, established in 1991 by Mrs. Edith Wakumire, to assist and empower people living in poverty, particularly those affected by AIDS.
