Who we are
Uganda Women Concern Ministry (UWCM) is an indigenous Christian Non-Governmental Organisation established in 1991, registered with the National NGO Board Reg.No.5914/552 and is incorporated in Uganda as a company with liability certificate No.41356. We are currently working in Eastern Uganda in the Elgon Zone (districts of Mbale, Sironko, Manafwa, Bududa, Bulambuli, Kapchorwa and Namisindwa).

We are a service and advocacy Organization with four departments consisting of the Women, Children, Church and Community and Finance & Administration. UWCM is located in a rural setting, 8 kms (5miles) on Mbale-Tororo Road, Wabukhasa village, Bukhumwa Parish, Bumbobi Sub-county, Mbale District, Eastern Uganda.

MISSION:
To empower the most vulnerable women, children and PLWHAs(People Living with HIV and AIDS) by Promoting a safe natural environment, Basic Primary health care, Economic Empowerment, Education and Capacity building through grass root community structures.
GOAL:
To contribute to the National and International efforts to combat poverty among the rural communities through impact mitigation interventions in an equitable and sustainable approach through enhanced partnerships.
